The thing is, most of the times the VM themselves are either
configured shoddily or the hardware specs. allocated to the colleges
labs. are not in tune with the requirements
of having a VM in the first place. Add to that most experiments are
now mandated to be done in the VM space to reduce sysadmin overhead.

I do have another query however,

I have looked at some potential topics for an RFP but dunno whether they would
be suitable for GNOME or not, some may be more in the privacy userspace
while others may be more in usability area.

Is there possibility to connect with somebody once the CFP to open to fine-tune
or/and talk about topics I hop to propose in a secure manner.

I do understand that talking/discussing topics, their relevancy etc.
does not mean
that the talk itself would be approved but might just give me some idea on the
relevancy of what I propose or how I can change it to fit better with GNOME's
norms.

I do not know if such a resource exists.
