Hi Kristian and welcome!

I'm Bastian, I do some release videos, merchandise and the newcomer guide[1]. As Felipe said we hang out on IRC (some channels are also bridged to Matrix if that's your thing). If you need some concrete suggestions for getting started here's my :

If you want to do some coding, you could try picking up an issue in a GNOME app (fx one you use or want to use) in https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME If you have no specific preference for IDE, I'd recommend giving Builder a try. A good way to get involved is also just start subscribing to a bunch of the repositories and keep an eye on the activity. Also, http://planet.gnome.org/ is a very nice website for this. :-)

We also have a few GNOME apps with low activity, where I'm sure the maintainers would like an extra hand, fx gnome-news (not migrated to gitlab yet). if you prefer more low-level stuff, there should also be components for that of course.

Hi Felipe;

thanks, I'll see to join IRC then. Just entered #newcomers there, maybe there's someone around then and now. :)

Cheers,
Kristian
