Patch Set 2: please note that the https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1057386 is targeted to 3.6 while this (https://bugzilla.redhat.com/1085380) is targeted to 3.5. I could abandon this patch and mark the 1085380 as a duplicate of 1057386 but in that case it should make it into 3.5...
