Humans created devices for them to bring peace in life, and those comforts and devices are themselves causing unrest and turmoil in their lives. I'd like to recall a quote by Gibran here : "When you are joyous, look deep into your heart and you shall find it is only that which has given you sorrow that is giving you joy. When you are sorrowful look again in your heart, and you shall see that in truth you are weeping for that which has been your delight." Going by the first definition, there are places in this world, where there is absolute peace, while others, where there is absolute violence. Whatever violence exists in the world, has been created by humans themselves, through their hatred.
