Hi Oscar, If you don't want to receive each and every mail from a group you are member of, you have to visit the group home page, and click on the hyper-link available there : 'Edit my membership<http://groups.google.co.in/group/english_learners/subscribe>'.
By clicking on this link, you are directed to a page where you have 4 choices of receiving mails from group : 1. No Email 2. Abridged Email *(No more than 1 email per day) 3. *Digest Email *(Approximately 1 email per day) 4. *Email *(Approximately 9 emails per day) *These are the only 4 options provided to google group users.
