Hello everybody,

For me there's a big difference between a live performance and the same one
on TV.

For example jazz music is made to be heard in a club. When I go in a jazz
club in Paris my favorite seat is just in front of the stage on the first
row. This way I strongly feel all the musicians give to the audience. It
seems to me that they tell a story just for me.

Sometimes the emotion is so incredible that I can cry.

For the opera it is the same thing. I remember great moments with "La
Bohême" from Puccini. On the screen i don't feel the same way.

The warmness of real human beings is irreplaceable.
Best regards

René
