You can browse inside books using the top 'Jump to page' bar, I mean, the reading is not necessarily sequential. The navigation is not the best but you can jump to 'any page', not only the 'Next'. To have the 'My library' feature you need to register. It's free (recommended). You can read the books on-line for free, or better if you have some money, you can download the PDF version to read off-line.
