Hi, dear all, Elham and Pablo, Sorry if I caused you any disapppointment. It was not my intention. I find this song very beautiful and maybe if you watch this other version, you will not feel so bad. I have searched for an explanation of the meaning of this lyric and found out that we are not alone. There are lots of discussions about it, but I got an interesting explanation from someone who is an expert on Poets of the Fall:
"Carnival Of rust" basically means that a place with all the nostalgia related to you, your failure in the past, the painful relations you might have had previously that crashed to an end. Rust signifies the past. The past which has rusted with time.
