*Dear friends,**
*
*I've just listened to the Eurovision songs from 2007,2008 and 2009
edition. *
*
*
*Most singers chose to sing in either English or Spanish. The latter
language was a surprise to me. I didn't know that Spanish was so popular
among Europeans.*
*
*
*However, the Portuguese chose to sing in their language. I think it hasn't
got to do with pride but with sonority.*
*
*
*The Portuguese language is just like music, especially Brazilian Portuguese
I suppose.*
*
*
*Did you know that many famous singers such as Celine Dion and ABBA had
their 'break' in the Eurovision sessions?*
*
*
*I believe we (Americans : Latin America + Canada + USA) should have a
similar competition. That'd be mostly in Spanish, English and Portuguese of
course...but exciting! *
*
*
*What do you think about all this?*
*
*
*All the best,*
*
*
*Josney*
