yes I've set the compatible mode and passive mode, I've tried all combinations, I've read the help on ftp settings and did what it suggested there as well. Server FTP server name or address. If you need to specify nonstandard port (21), write port number after server address: ftp.name.domain:port tried above with and without port Passive Mode You may need it if you connect to FTP from proxy server or behind a firewall.
