Hi all, my preferred solution to manage the charset problem is to have one parameter in the program settings and a second one in the project settings. The parameter in the project settings should default to the program setting and overwrite the program setting for a single project. This is a result of my own projects. In most cases, I am working in my native charset (ISO-8859-1 or ISO-8859-15), but there are some projects where I have to use a windows charset like cp1252 or UTF-8.
