You're absolutely right - I unmapped Shift+space and that fixed it. I was apparently looking in the wrong place within the keymap definitions, since I really don't use clips. I noticed something else about "space behavior" that may be perfectly normal, but it's curious -- If I enter a series of spaces on an otherwise blank line and then backspace over them, they are removed in groups equal to my tab width. For example, my tab width is set to 4 (using real tabs) and if I type 12 spaces (not tabs), they are removed in three groups of four spaces, not as 12 individual spaces. This would be expected if I entered three actual tabs (equaling 12 spaces), and PSPad does it that way. But I would expect that when entering individual spaces, they would be removed as individual spaces. In fact, they /are/ if there is a non-whitespace character somewhere on the line, but not if the line is completely whitespace. Is this normal? [%sig%] -- PSPad freeware editor http://www.pspad.com
