I use pspad extensively as a plain text editor. I know that word-wrap is a
general issue, but here's something that I haven't seen mentioned.
word wrap here

Rock 'N Roll is here to stay
Will not wrap.
Remove the quote, and it does wrap. Doesn't matter is single or double
quote, or if there is a terminating quote, unless the terminating quote is
before the wrap.
E.g.,
word wrap here
|
"Rock 'N Roll is here to stay"
will not wrap while
"Rock 'N Roll" is here to stay
will wrap.
