Hi, wow, that was fast :-)) It seems there is no such thing as file extension on AS400. In fact, there is no real filesystem. You manage things like "libraries", which can be accessed via FTP where they are listed like a conventional filesystem. So there is no need for a file extension association. My pal would need to change syntax highlighting to "GAP" when he wants to edit such files. By the way, the fact that this language is like COBOL (identation is part of the language specifications), can PSPad deal with this ? -- PSPad freeware editor http://www.pspad.com
