Hi ! First of all I have to say thanks for making this great editor and even release it as freeware. :-) I am impressed of all its feauters thats is both powerful but yet easy and initutive to use. Keep up the great job ! One feature that I would think be great is if you where able to cut the view in columns with thin vertical lines, like that single vertical line you have, to more easily read datafiles. And maybe be possible to give each column a heading that stayed at top of the view even if you scroll down in the file... Then if you could save this "recordview" and reload it later so you dont have to set it up every time. Real, real nice but maybe to much would it be if you could set it up for looking up whats data it is in some column. Some sort of record-type and regarding to this altering the columnview. For example look in this file: 012006010900005 1000001150030042312412 1000002330030055522322 1000003552320063453234 9920060109000005233030203 where the first 2 characters on the line is a record-type. 01 is startrecord 20060109 is date 00005 is number of records in file for example Next line is 10 is data-record with 00001 is a recordcounter and then some sort of data. Last line have recordtype 99 for End-record and have its own look. It would be great if the columns and heading could altering when you scroll down in the file and describes it for you much much more easeliy. Another thing that would be great is you would be able to set the startvalue of the ruler to be 0 or 1. Now when the cursor is on position 1 the ruler above poiting on 0. A little bit confusing... But i can see times its good to start at 0 as well. I understand this is an editor and not an file viewer and I also understand if you hasitate to add to many odd features it would make it to complex to use, big and slow.
