Has anyone run into a problem with PSPad crashing when loading a f ile on Windows 2000? It just started, after running Windows Update (so who knows which update has caused it). When loading a file, PSPad will just cease to run. No error message, no screen repaint, etc. - Most of the editor remains "visible" onscreen, but nothing is running at all. The files causing the editor to crash vary, but they're usually HTML or XML files that previously loaded just fine. They're not large (<20k), nor weird in any way. It has happened both when loading a file from inside the program as well as sending a file to it. When sending a file, the file hasn't even displayed yet when it dies. If I immediately relaunch the editor and make an error report, I get this : Index is out ot range. Exception class: EJclMapiError Exception address: 004C95D4 ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Stack list, generated 01/19/2006 10:47:25 AM [004C95CF] JclMapi.TJclSimpleMapi.CheckListIndex (Line 485, "JCLMapi.pas" + 2) + $1D ...etc., which I assume is a result of not having a default email client on the system (we use Lotus Notes)... Why else would there be a Mapi error? I can post or email the entire error message if desired. I realize it's going to be tough to track this down with such minimal information, but I'm just curious if anyone else has run into this.
