I usually rename the previous PsPad.exe to PsPadreleasenr.exe before installing (or copying, in case of a beta) the new PsPad. That way, I can always go back. Anyway, PsPad barely touches the registry (except for context menus), so you can easily restore your previous version by installing the old kit. I use PsPad 4.5.0 for quite some time now and have not seen a regression yet. But I edit C, C++, shell scripts, Oracle scripts and do not use word wrapping.
