Just out of sheer curiosity I decided to download Mystix and see for myself, how code folding, Holy Grail of PSPad forum's attendees :) works. Well... not without, errr, certain oddities. I opened two files with PHP functions; the second was just a copy of the first one, with comments stripped out. With the second file code folding worked great; flawlessly. With the first one, however, ie. the one with comments, only some functions or other code structures were recognized and the other were not. I played with it for a while, deleting comments and sometimes the editor started to "see" funtions to fold and sometimes not. Anyway, I couldn't figure out why it was so. So, as you see, code folding in Mystix is not perfect yet--so merely copying it into PSPad wouldn't do the trick. Furthermore, there are certainly other things that should be polished up, eg. there's a function "Goto line number" (like in PSPad)--but when you choose number of a line that is actually folded (ie. hidden), it is not unfolded (and I think it should), so you land somewhere else. And how about code folding working in split window? How about cold folding working with print preview? How about...? Well, I don't know, but I understand it is not enough just to copy some code into PSPad. Perhaps Jan could do it ad experimentum, but, frankly, I would advise him not to, unless he wants to explain on the forum over and over again that this is _not_ a final version--you know, what I mean ;-) To all those waiting for CF: Patience is bitter, but its fruit is sweet.
