windows autocompletion does that already inside each folder (i mean it does not recursively, only one level) not sure since which version, but xp has it, and probably 2000 just try writing directly the name in the name field, it will popup the matches for the filter assigned and letters you typed -- PSPad freeware editor http://www.pspad.com
