Sounds like a good idea to script it. I did have a look but couldn't find any functions that deal with setting the readonly attribute for a file. In the 'Direct Edit' [Special Settings] I found OpenAllReadOnly but that's not what I am looking for. I was thinking that if in the core editor we have a project level attribute that can be set to 'open as readonly' the same we as we can do for files now it would be really cool. So if I set a file to RO then when its opened automatically the next time it retains its attribute. Is something like this possible? -- PSPad freeware editor http://www.pspad.com
