hi, having used NoteTab Pro for a few years I am switching to PSPad, partly because NoteTab doesn't have a simple macro recorder, partly because PSPad has other useful features which I didn't know I wanted, and partly because PSPad is free! I'm having a problem, though, with using clips for text files. When I use ctrl-Alt-Space to save a clip from a block of text, the clip gets saved into the file TXT.DEF. I then use Ctrl-Space to see the list of clips, but nothing happens. When I choose Settings > Edit Clip Definition File > Text, it creates and opens a file Text.DEF, which has no clips in it. Shouldn't it open TXT.DEF, where the clips I've saved using Ctrl-Alt-Space are being saved? I'm using PSPad 4.5.0 (2183) on XP. Have looked through the help files and searched this forum but haven't found a solution. Thanks, Adrian -- PSPad freeware editor http://www.pspad.com
