I designed the following test that prove what I'm saying. create an HTML file with the following code and open it in a maximized window in IE. <body bgcolor=green style='border: 0 ; margin: 0 ; padding: 0 ; overflow-y: hidden'> <div style='background-color: blue ; width: 1024px ; height: 10px'></div> </body>replace the red number for your screen width. If the window is maximized, in IE does not appear horizontal scrollbar. But in the html page preview with a width of 1004 it does appear the horizontal scrollbar. When I set the page preview window width to 1024, the horizontal scrollbar disappear, which prove what I say. -- PSPad freeware editor http://www.pspad.com
