When I open ASP / HTM (previously simple text files created with Win Notepad), the file is blank, and the code reappears only re-charging file with right-click option or CTRL+R. I tried everything in Format menu about ANSI and other standards (as you suggested in previous msg), but no result: files are still blak on opening. I noticed something interesting, anyway: only certain files are left blank, and in particular those longer than a dozen or rows or so. Shorter files are opened without any problem. I also want to note that I manually declared files associations. I found the only way for XP to work is declaring "< path to exe >/pspad.exe" "%1" in the executable field: using %1 w/out quote marks seems to raise problems (the program reads the entire path and opens it as separate files [happened also in Crimson Editor]: for example, if you open "folder1/default.asp", in PSPad you'll find three open "files": "folder1", "-" [conversion from "/"] and at last "default.asp"). Am I doing something wrong in file association? Is there anything I (or the programmers ;-) can do to solve this "blank on opening" problem, apart from copy-paste all original files to new ones? -- PSPad freeware editor http://www.pspad.com
