- select text - Ctrl-Shift-Down In fact, the command Next Occurrence of Current Word does somewhat more than you would expect: - if nothing is selected yet, it selects the current word - the second time, it searches for the word that is selected If some text is already selected (it does not have to be a word), it skips the first step and goes for an immediate search.
