There's a difference between -L and -l. -l means 'long format', meaning it shows all the sizes etc. I've never found a need to use -l when connected to an ftp server, as it usually does that automatically. -L means, if there is a symbolic link, to show information on where the link is pointing rather than the link itself. Either way, even if you just put a LIST in there, it would help me from getting No Transfer Timeouts. -- PSPad freeware editor http://www.pspad.com
