I'm not sure I understand - the synchronize button? I rephrase my suggestion, I don't know if I worded it right. I'll give you a scenario: Normally, when working with files in UltraEdit, I might have a couple different versions of the same file that I'm working on - for example, a 'test' file and a 'production', and I find that I need to open them up quite often. So, lets say I have file 'a' and 'c' open already. What would be nice is if I have file 'a' open, I click on 'file'> 'open', and the folder that I'm brought to by default to open my next file is the same folder that file 'a' resides in. File 'b' also resides in this folder (since it is a related file), so now I open file 'b' without browsing anywhere else. Next, I click on my currently opened file 'c', and I realize that I need to open a related file from that folder structure. So I have 'c' as my current focused text file that I'm editing, and I click 'file'> 'open', and I'm now brought to the file folder where file 'c' resides in instead of the file 'a' folder. It's such a small cosmetic thing, but it really speeds up the work having this available, rather than having to browse all the way down to the folder that I need to get to (or copying a folder structure to the clipboard). I hope this clarifies things...or if I'm missing something, please let me know. Rob -- PSPad freeware editor http://www.pspad.com
