Yes it is necessary that both players engines use the same level
version. But of course the level can be transfered online from one
network player's engine to the others.
The reasons why will be explained in just another mail, as we spin off
the original topic.
But there is no disputing that the main nigma executable would need
compatability.
Of course. And not only the engine and the levels are affected. The libs
and initialization have to be compatible, too.
Besides that there are other interesting features that need
compatibility like level journaling or break&continue.
