Hi all, 1. I have been an avid user of Enigma, and previously Oxyd for many years. As I am now retired and have slower reflexes, I find some of the fast paced and frenetic levels beyond me. That's fine, that's life. However something is bugging me. It wasn't so bad with Oxyd & the earlier levels of Enigma, but now, as the levels get larger & more complex, and the authors more devious and cunning in their creations, it is often hard to complete a level at one sitting. One has either to leave the computer on (overnight or longer), or start the level over. Many other games have a 'save' and 'resume' facility. Is it too hard to program this? or is there a philosophical reason not to?
2. As a Mac user, I am now delighted to report that Enigma 1.10 works fine on all my Macs - MacPro (Intel) 2.66 GHz Dual-Core OSX 10.5.6. 15" Powerbook 1.33 GHz (PPC) OSX 10.5.5 Emac 1.25GHz (PPC) OSX 10.5.6 Emac 700 GHz (PPC) OSX 10.4.11 Sorry, but I no longer have any Macs running 10.3.x to test. Cheers, David ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ David Perry 72 Overport Road Frankston VIC 3199 Australia Tel: +61 3 9787 2865 Cell: 0424 749 144 Email: davidpe...@mac.com Web: http://www.davidspages.net http://homepage.mac.com/davidperry ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ _______________________________________________ Enigma-devel mailing list Enigma-devel@nongnu.org http://lists.nongnu.org/mailman/listinfo/enigma-devel
