Inkscape is the reference: I use it for my job, I made my pupils use it to draw diagrams, I use it to translate figures from raster to vectorial, from svg to pdf... It runs on all platforms, it is free (in all the senses of the word), it works well with wacom-like devices, and there are many books like Inkscape for the dummies to help you free your creativity. So definitely I would choose Inkscape :-) Alain > I know you want everything to be open source if possible, and I'd like to be > able to send Raoul & the team full size vector versions of anything I make, > so they'll be available to all the developers in the future. > > > Ah - got an email today from Raoul suggesting I start with: > > > - umbrella > - bag > - spade > - pipes > - bottle > > > so that's exactly what I'll be doing first. > > > I'm glad things are happening with Enigma again! > > > Best, > > Jennifer Robertson > > > >
