Dear developers, contributors, and friends of Enigma,
today we release Enigma 1.30-beta. It is meant as a test run for the
full release, and therefore holds all features and levels that will
appear in Enigma 1.30 as well, with 95 new levels (relative to
1.30-alpha). If you find any bugs, please inform us.
You can find Enigma 1.30-beta here:
https://sourceforge.net/projects/enigma-game/files/Release%201.30-beta
https://github.com/Enigma-Game/Enigma/releases/tag/1.30-beta
On Linux:
A source-tar-ball is available from both pages.
On Windows:
Choose Enigma-w32-1.30-beta.zip. It will unpack to a directory,
from which you can run Enigma directly, no further installation
neccessary.
On Mac:
Please try to use the installation via homebrew
and tell us if it works for you.
Please remember that this is a beta-version. There
might be evil bugs not yet seen, so please backup
your scores and self-written levels before trying it.
List of shortcomings / known bugs:
- Rescaling the application window introduces
graphical artifacts: Better use fixed window
sizes for now.
- Not all fullscreen modes are available yet,
in particular no vertical screen modes. If you
use a vertical screen, please use Enigma in
windowed mode.
Have a fun summer,
please stay safe!
Andreas, Daniel, Raoul, Nobby, Thomas, and Georg
PS: I will be on vacation for the next two weeks and will answer your
mail when I'm back.
