-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 Hi there,
I'm just starting to use PGP and I'm stuck with a problem that I don't quite understand. I have my key pair for my account [email protected] and I want to write and sign an email to another account of mine [email protected]. Since there's no encryption I believe I do not need the recipient's public key, since I'm encrypting my message with my own private key, correct? Then why the heck when I try to send the message I get a window to select the recipient for encryption? I must say that the recipient [email protected] used to have a key pair, but I revoked it, would this pose a problem? I'm using Thunderbird 17.0.2 as a mail client, Enigmail 1.5 and pgp4win 2.1.0 I'll try to sign this and hopefully I should be able to send it. Thanks a lot for any comment/suggestion Al -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v2.0.17 (MingW32) Comment: Using GnuPG with Thunderbird - http://www.enigmail.net/ iQEcBAEBAgAGBQJQ+T/vAAoJEBoqysRziP2AV1oH/ROFY4lgJfgF9a7aluMoXCXj kgVternVNgbqUxpkr7JqQd3tGlltwG3ZXSBXHByHwawQowPDvQl34C/sX9wWiw4w v5gHF1cQsWyO2bL/3YibN1xuhVyemIYcQYdhLs6kzoRHdOZt2jS3msR7Y5hCGCsA qK9q8rdXx+dCOKj/xGZMNC8OYqWICQNCLDBPSjN9L4/0WDr1cbpVjWoVOFwky4ip vNR6yEFNloNCtwG+jkf+JvHgqQa6w+gE6nEatd+oPHBfno+9WLwUH5YnwIqV7rcj kipUodo7rOUnXfxC0eG+2s1ncEulVXDdWYoixx3sa38wvrnQB7ZmcWGMAqkIJ/E= =cJv5 -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- _______________________________________________ enigmail-users mailing list [email protected] https://admin.hostpoint.ch/mailman/listinfo/enigmail-users_enigmail.net
