I'm using MacOS, but I believe the issue is identical: the value of the cache in gpg-agent.conf should be set by the user. That value is set in seconds, during which the cached (and encrypted) passphrase(s) is (are) available. I believe the default value of that cache is 10 seconds. I hope I'm not wasting your time.
