I'm not sure how relevant this still is : http://world.std.com/~dtd/sign_encrypt/sign_encrypt7.html but it would certainly suggest that to avoid "surreptitious forwarding" the text being signed should include something that identifies the signer. A sig usually fulfills this role. - -- Andy Ruddock - ------------ [email protected] (GPG Key ID 0xB0324245) -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.12 (GNU/Linux) Comment: Using GnuPG with Mozilla - http://enigmail.mozdev.org/ iQIcBAEBAgAGBQJREp7YAAoJECqtbbewMkJFc3IP/2Vc8pkFyLtv8K7UfzryJ3X0 9IYLe+uVyqjJe8mDGYrDLvrvkYoOA/49fQHD5GN88uWFcC0KNKJTnq9ifqWsJMoE Wh/lruxv1VAqU30k7QXudQvrNGU5Tj6foSvejsXW+b0IpGBX47jrqlNdG0LYaO7a u9BnqRqYT1knPd95UdKdh7hUsjuSlv0u3rWIqDqSnIyIRsRzSXColEDbHQAbHftw usYC+hHnNLfmB6Wn0b4VR8uV3Q3mRt/+Vq9EnI23guqnVng23FdhypxvxIn13iYd JOYeYjJDh9HYLDZg00lKanj2jrGqLIWM7ozdDvRDNQsUJcsf66N+9D5I3BCYFvhu pWKyU895IKmjsFwoLyDycLRWNbfWHLVr62IJe3co29zTgA14Js9S6jyxPZdZuO91 cnP1bYvKhEUkdPM+UJbisJ1blLskUeCuTV0l32eD7pnH7EY+i5fxLa/icZqpcizU VakLw6Xh5rl8FiHhZZvQGZDy5+4BgRd3cst444SqLK/OYsYUq1cJ9sQdEdx9Mlpj UCN0YxerZeyi+vx82zD6UkhrrC/96eJG9GDiggn9iRq7Y7ULsH32n5PcZGS7Pls8 BP8dQAFyJPOW46envFfMP0Ck/wMnpbC640CgLmyhwvwpiPzJmTShqpbCcrx2W47y QAbsS8UVAHJobSE4syYL =Zr61 -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- _______________________________________________ enigmail-users mailing list [email protected] https://admin.hostpoint.ch/mailman/listinfo/enigmail-users_enigmail.net
