This is an error I *was* getting before on any smartcard operation.  I
wrote about it on the gnupg-users list.  Sure enough, if I kill the
gnome-keyring-daemon process, I can now sign emails.

This is very annoying, but I guess it's not an enigmail problem.  I
wish I know why only enigmail broke when the command line was working.
