No, this is not a fake. This is a standard feature of the mailinglist
software (mailman). This type of mails is individually sent to every
subscribed user once a month, if he/she has set this option in his/her
subscription settings.

Anybody else getting knowledge of this passward can not produce much
damagage. The password is only needed if you want to change your
subsciption settings in the web interface. Even if an attacker would
change it, you could regain it easily with clicking on "Remind" on
https://lists.enigmail.net/mailman/options/enigmail-users_enigmail.net/

Now that your password is known to several hundred people - you have
published it here on the mailing list - I'd recommend to change it ;-)
