Hi,
I just pushed some updates for the UserSelection dialog,
which might be on interest
(wait one night for the next build).
Features:
a) sort matching but invalid items to the top
Thus if you couldn't send due to an expired key
or so, you don't have to scroll down now
b) sort invalid (disabled/revoked/expired) keys to the end
c) split whether to encrypt&sign into two checkboxes
so that this handling becomes more intuitive
d) allow to select keys with unknown trust
even if not "always trust" is enabled
(still signaled as "not appropriate")
The effects will especially apply if the "always trust"
option is disabled (the goal is not to frustrate people more
than necessary if this preference is disabled).
Fixes:
a) fix buggy handling of invalidAddr
(wrong keys sometimes listed on top as invalid)
b) fix buggy processing of whether to encrypt in the
UserSelection checkbox (probably my bug ;-( )
c) fix strange effect of "refresh keys"
(removed invalid keys on top and could
activate keys although nothing change in the key list)
And hopefully no new bugs. ;-)
I am also pretty close to push a new test version for
"auto send encrypted if all keys are valid"
(in fact this patch is a part of it, moved into
the master already).
