Hello,

I am not very experienced with mail signing, but I started studying PGP
a little while ago, and came across a little problem while using
Enigmail after the recent upgrade. I am using Thunderbird 31.0 with
Enigmail 1.7, on Ubuntu 14.04.1 LTS.

Before this upgrade, when I had checked the PGP key for a sender, I used
Enigmail to sign it, and set the owner's trust.
After this operation, the key was labelled as an "Untrusted good
signature from...", and the green background was good enough for me.

However, since recently, no matter how I acknowledge the key, I'm stuck
with a red "Unverified signature". I can still check whether the key is
valid manually, but I got quite used to Enigmail's green message doing
the job for me.

Is there anything I'm missing here?
Regards.
