We've fixed some bugs concerning incorrect behaviour of Encrypt/Sign settings. Please use a nightly build (https://www.enigmail.net/download/nightly.php) if you are suffering from them. > I've attached the offending message via a link (due to going to a > list) so I hope it remains coherent. Well, it's really a bit too large for a mailinglist with several hundred participants ;-) > Any help retrieving the message would be really appreciated - > there's nothing sensitive in it. When I try to open the mail in Thunderbird, my mail window keeps white. No indication of an encrypted mail whatsoever. Trying to manually decrypt it with command line tools, gpg shows up with: gpg: encrypted with 4096-bit ELG key, ID 47279F1E, created 2005-09-04 "Morgan Read (the primary email of morgan read) <[email protected]>" gpg: decryption failed: No secret key If this is not your key, you're busted. If it is, you're probably suffering from a bug which is not yet known. If you want to retrieve the contents of your message, this will probably be much work with a lot of tools, as it is a PGP/MIME message containing attachment(s). We'll investigate what hinders Enigmail from a decryption of your message. Hope this helps.
