If you want/need to make a living out of it, you need to count that time. I wrote them my feedback yesterday and got it answered this morning. Wow. Compared to R2Mail2, MailDroid's IMAP handling is WAY faster. Nice clean UI. Is has minor drawbacks though. But still worth the money IMHO.
