There may be a few problems with Windows users only being able to get GnuPG 2.x as part of GPG4Win - that might put many people off using it. I'm not use how well it functions on 64 bit Windows systems - it certainly failed here when I tried it some time back - but maybe that was probably GPG4Win not GnuPG - it was very flaky. I can't remember what the problem was so I'll have a go at installing just GnuPG and see what happens - maybe all is OK now.
