Some people told me that they don't like the red color of the message that is displayed when you write an unencrypted unsigned mail. I won't change the default, but there is a solution for this:
All colors in Thunderbird are configurable by users. If you place the attached userChrome.css file into your <Thunderbird Profile>/chrome directory, then the color of the message will be black. -Patrick
