Hi List, I recently installed Enigmail 1.7.2 (Thunderbird 31.7.0) and imported a new keypair. However, it seems that Enigmail is still trying to use an old keypair. When editing a new message, trying to send or save a message, it says:
The email address or key ID '0x09DA19BF' cannot be matched to a valid, not expired OpenPGP key. Please ensure that you have a valid OpenPGP key, and that your account settings point to that key. The key in question shows up neither in the key manager nor in ‘gpg --list-keys’. There are a couple of reports about this error on the web (https://btw.any.mx/tag/enigmail/ https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Thunderbird http://sourceforge.net/p/enigmail/bugs/306/ http://sourceforge.net/p/enigmail/forum/support/thread/7b5b9936/?limit=25) but they do not seem to correspond to my issue, and the proposed fixes do not work for me. I also tried to add a per-recipient rule for “*” to use my new key, but that did not work either. What to do?
