<puts on the "Official Enigmail" hat> Enigmail doesn't generate certificates, so there can't be a bug in how it generates certificates. :) Instead, Enigmail gathers information from you, and then it calls GnuPG and gives the data you provided to GnuPG. So both your "Enigmail-generated" certificate and your "GnuPG-generated certificate" were both generated by GnuPG. <takes off hat>
