It should resolve to https://enigmail.net/index.php/en/faq?view=category&id=14 which shows the relevant Items "Resolving issues with GnuPG 2.x and gpg-agent" and "How to fix continuous requests for passphrase". There are quite some discussions in the forum also. I did not have any issues setting it up on my system, but had issues on another Mint 17.3 system yesterday and I'm going to look into it.
