I have Win7 / Thunderbird latest / Enigmail (latest). A recent Enigmail update defaults the Protocol to PGP/MIME.
Before this March update, the e-mail being sent encrypted on-screen before sending. After the update, the e-mail did not show as encrypted before sending. When I change the Protocol back to PGO-Inline, it shows on the screen encrypted usual. Question 1. with PGP/MIME, is the e-mail being encrypted before sending, the same as it shows with PGP-Inline ? Question 2. when receiving e-mail encrypted with PGP/MIME protocol, the top bar says it has decrypted. Was it actually encrypted properly by the sender. Sender noticed same as me above when sending.
