Hi,

I'm using Enigmail 1.9.2 with Thunderbird 45.1.1 (Windows). I'm
sending my e-mails as plain text (no html) and use PGP/Inline (some of
my contacts prefer it over PGP/MIME).

If my signed e-mail contains long unbreakable text lines (especially
links) Enigmail prints a warning about them and I can choose between
various options how to proceed. If I choose automatic line wrap, the
links are being split up over several which is undesirable. Therefore
I usually send them without changes but in the dialogue box enigmail
warns about that this might result in a broken signature. At least if
I look at the e-mails in my send box the signature looks always (I
checked several dozed mails) OK and other people also verified the
signature as correct. In which circumstances does the long lines
result in a broken signature? If Thunderbird changes the line wrap
after signing I would see this when I look at the e-mail in my send
folder, wouldn't I? How likely is it that a server on the way changes
the line wrap?

I would prefer if there would be a way to define the default choice
(like it is for the handling of attachments).

Kind regards,

Hauke
