It didn't report GnuPG was infected, only that some of GnuPG's
components looked like some of the components of the Adware.FPL.ELEX.dd
package.  This actually happens with great regularity.  Often, software
will reuse components from other pieces of software: called "code
reuse", when done with legal permission it's one of the normal ways
software is built.

If the malware uses GnuPG (for instance, to securely communicate with
its home servers), GnuPG would be deemed "a part of" that, even though
GnuPG has nothing to do with it and isn't compromised in and of itself.

I would advise patience and calm.  It's likely this is a false alarm.
