Hi Christian--

Thanks for the report. i'm filling in this mail with images in-line for
future readers (after imgur removes the images) and a textual
representation for the visually-impaired, and for indexers (to make it
easier to search if a similar issue arises).

A few diagnostic questions are included at the end.

this is:

it shows a dialog reading:

----------------
The following of your secret keys have missing trust.
 [REDACTED]
 [REDACTED]
We recomend that you set "You rely on certifications" to ultimate in key
 properties.

This is:

It shows the upper-right corner of the key management dialog box with
three columns, "Key validity", "Owner Trust", and "Expiry" and four rows
of keys (the key identities are not visible, it's not clear whether they.

"Key Validity" and "Owner Trust" both show "invalid", and the Expiry
column all shows 06/26/11 (presumably this means 2011 June 6, which is
in the past).

we don't know which keys are visible from this image, actually, or
whether the key management filter box has any text in it. does it?

Has anything else changed on your system in the meantime, or is the
only change the upgrade to TB and enigmail? have you tried restoring
older versions of thunderbird or enigmail to see if the problem goes
away?

Some more useful diagnostics:

how large is your public keyring ? what version of GnuPG are you
running? how many secret keys do you have?
