I see two reasons for this: 1. GnuPG only prints the long key ID (i.e. not the FPR) to tell you which key was used to encrypt a message. If you have keys on your keyring with these IDs, then this might be the problem. 2. The internal key list in Enigmail got mixed up (even though I cannot imagine how this can happen). Reload the key cache and see if the problem pertains. -Patrick
