Hi Jochen, thanks, personally I wasn't aware of the Ciphershed project until now. But AFAIK CipherShed <https://www.ciphershed.org/> development has stalled, latest release <https://www.ciphershed.org/news/> is February 1st, 2016. Veracrypt <https://www.veracrypt.fr/> is OpenSource, too, has Audits (on 1.19) also and development is active <https://sourceforge.net/projects/veracrypt/files/VeraCrypt%20Nightly%20Builds/>.
